The Optima 700 series

A heavy-duty series of commercial kitchen appliances with a depth of 700 mm for the catering and hospitality industry. A complete range with over 160 electrical and gas appliances that can be flexibly combined into any conceivable configuration. The special, level-matching coupling strips and drainage channels on both sides of the appliances meet stringent ergonomic and hygiene requirements. The heavy-duty quality and premium design make the Optima 700 series the centerpiece of any kitchen.

Construction:

• Housing and cover made entirely of chrome-nickel steel (material no. 1.4301) / AISI 304
• Visible surfaces with polished and satin finishes, grit size 320
• Buckle-resistant, self-supporting, closed construction with side walls, back wall and bottom
• Cover plate sloped at a 45° angle, designed as a drip edge at the front of the base, 50 mm edges bent at a 90° angle on each side and a 40 mm raised edge at a 90° angle at the rear
• 30 mm cover projection, flush with the appliance housing
• With tightly welded drainage channels on the sides, 45° slanted design at the front – rounded at the rear (R 30)
• Multi Safe Connect – Easy-to-install system for sealing and connecting adjacent appliances using Multi Safe Connect bars (optional accessories) with thermal protection and integrated moisture barrier, making it easier to move cookware at worktop height
• Prepared as standard for mounting height-adjustable device or flange legs (optional), 4 castors, 2 wheels (at the rear) and 2 feet (150 mm, at the front)
• In addition, the device can optionally be prepared for height-adjustable plinth feet or for mounting on a mounting bridge.
• The appliance is fully wired internally for connection to the customer supplied electricity supply with an appliance switch in the control panel – all necessary contactors for operation are installed.
• Fully wired to water requirements for connection to customer supplied water mains.
• Equipped with media supply via pre-drilled half-knockout openings (rear wall bottom left/right, subfloor rear left/right), including membrane seal for media supply (depending on the amount of media) matching the size of the opening (knockout opening).
• IPX6 – Protection against strong jets of water.

On-site installation requirements

• Electrical power supply
• Connection to the water pipe (for optional water inlet)
• 3/4" cold or hot water connections (for optional water inlet)
• Connection to the sewer system (for optional water inlet)

Effective area:

• Hygienically designed pan made of chrome-nickel steel 1.4404 (AISI 316), suitable for GN containers, rounded corners (R 30), with PowerBlock sandwich frying plate base.
• The PowerBlock sandwich fryer plate consists of extremely corrosion-resistant 3 mm thick chrome-nickel steel (1.4404) and a 12 mm thick, heat-resistant base layer of steel (1.5415) for heat storage.
• Pan with seamlessly welded rim and integrated litre marking.
• Emptying through an advanced safety drain tap made of chrome-nickel steel (1.4404) in the bottom, with a large R 2" opening at the front for optimal pouring.
• Device with one heating zone.

Operating concept

• Control panel with profile to protect the controls
• The control panel can be detached from the front for easy and cost-efficient access for maintenance
• MKN black plastic rotary knobs , ergonomically shaped knobs for easy position recognition
• The relief on the control panel where the buttons are mounted prevents the ingress of liquids

Lid

• Simple operation system – the lid swivel joint moves smoothly and precisely, the lid opens and closes continuously without interruption.
• Double-walled, thermally insulated lid, wear-resistant, without seal, with a full stainless steel round tubular handle.

Heat

• Surface heating system directly under the ground, flush-mounted
• 8mm aluminium plate for even heat distribution, with precision milled grooves to support the tubular heating elements made of chrome nickel steel for optimal and fast heat transfer
• Individually screwed tubular heating elements allow for easy maintenance
