The Optima 850 series

A robust series of professional kitchen appliances with a depth of 850 mm for larger, institutional kitchens. A complete range with more than 240 electric and gas appliances that can be flexibly combined into any conceivable configuration, fully tailored to the user's needs. The robust quality and premium design make the Optima 850 series the centerpiece of every kitchen.

Construction:

• Housing and top entirely made of chrome-nickel steel (material no. 1.4301) / AISI 304
• Visible surfaces with polished and satin finish, grit 320
• Kink-resistant, self-supporting, closed construction with side walls, rear wall, and floor
• Cover plate angled at 45° designed as a drip edge at the front bottom, 50 mm edges on each side folded down 90°, and a 40 mm raised edge at 90° at the rear.
• 30 mm cover projection closed onto the device frame
• With tightly welded drainage channels on the sides, angled design 45° at the front - rounded at the back (R 30)
• Multi Safe Connect – Easy-to-install system for sealing and connecting adjacent appliances using Multi Safe Connect rods (optional accessories) with thermal protection and integrated moisture barrier, facilitating the easy movement of cookware at worktop level.
• Hygienic cabinet space H2 , closed on three sides – rounded corners and edges (R20)
• Standard prepared for mounting height-adjustable appliance or flange feet (optional), 4 swivel casters, 2 rollers (rear) and 2 feet (150 mm, front)
• Additionally, the device can optionally be prepared for height-adjustable plinth feet or for mounting on an installation bridge.
• The device is fully internally wired for connection to the customer's power supply – all contactors required for operation are installed.
• Equipped for media supply through pre-laser-cut half-cutouts (bottom rear wall left/right, rear subfloor left/right) incl. membrane seal for media supply (depending on the amount of media), matching the size of the opening (cutout)
• IPX5 – Protection against water jets

Effective area:

• The hob is welded seamlessly and sleekly into the cover plate.
• Rectangular cooking plates 300 x 300 mm, made of grey cast iron, are sealed with the cooking plate.
• Cooktops with protection – if no energy is being consumed, the energy supply is reduced by approx. 50%
• The short distance of less than 35 mm between the cooking plates makes moving heavy cookware easier.

Operating concept:

• Control panel with profile to protect control elements
• The control panel can be detached from the front for simple and cost-effective service access.
• MKN stainless steel premium knob , ergonomically shaped knobs for easy position recognition
• The relief surface of the control panel on which the buttons are mounted prevents the ingress of liquid.
• Adjustable heat output via a 7-position switch – fine-tuning of the heat output of each cooking zone
